People: Korn/Ferry, Arcus

Futurestep, a division of Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY), appointed Kelly Cartwright as VP and general manager of The Newman Group, a provider of talent management consulting. Cartwright previously served as VP of marketing and business development strategy at Futurestep.

Korn/Ferry also announced that Paul Legvold joined the company as senior client partner in its global asset management practice. Legvold previously served as head of the North American asset management practice at Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII).

Arcus, a Harrisburg PA-based firm that provides staffing, announced it formed a corporate advisory board. Members of the board include:
-Peter Cianchette, currently VP of business development for Cianbro Companies and former U.S. ambassador to Costa Rica and former candidate for governor of Maine;
-Ron Noden, managing director of Glenhurst Consulting group and a former tech executive;
-Scott Snyder, president of Breakthru Advisors and a senior partner at Decision Strategies International as well as a former executive at several Fortune 500 companies;
-Vern Swedin, who is involved in both Pacer International and Pace CSO;
-Steve Woda, president and CEO of KidSafe and founder and former chairman of buySAFE.
