People: Hudson, U.S. Legal, Initio, Epitec, Filter

The Hudson Highland Group (NASD: HHGP) named Mark Yacano as executive VP of Hudson Legal North America. Yacano founded the discovery solutions practice of Wright, Robinson, Osthimer and Tatum in 1999, one of the first law firms in the U.S. to develop a specialized document review and discovery practice, according to Hudson. The Wright Robinson firm later merged with LeClairRyan in 2008.

U.S. Legal Support, a Houston-based firm that provides legal staffing and other services, named Joanie Ruge as division president of its staffing and document review services division. Ruge previously served as senior VP of Adecco North America. She will be based in New York City.

Initio International Ltd. appointed Mike Walmsley as a nonexecutive director. Walmsley had served as managing director at Parker Bridge prior to setting up his own company, RecruitmentTraining.co.uk in 2001. London-based initio manages Monroe Staffing in the U.S., Longbridge in the U.K. and ALG Consultores in Spain.

The Epitec Group, Southfield MI-based technology services and staffing firm, promoted Tom Csatari to VP of sales and delivery. Csatari most recently served as director of sales.

Filter, a Seattle-based firm that provides marketing/creative staffing and other services, named Drory Ben-Menachem as creative director. Ben-Menachem previously served as marcom creative director for Microsoft Corp.
