Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) named Peter Liu as a principal in its industrial and supply chain practice teams in the Asia Pacific. Liu joins Heidrick from Peninsula Knitters, a Hong Kong-based garment manufacturer.

Vedior NV said Remmert Laan will resign from the company's board effective today for personal reasons. Laan was slated to step down in April.
