Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) appointed Robert Kaplan to its board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2015. Kaplan is the senior associate dean and Martin Marshall professor of management practice in business administration at Harvard Business School. Kaplan is also co-chairman of Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, a global venture philanthropy firm, as well as chairman and a founding partner of Indaba Capital Management LLC. Kaplan also serves on the Board of the State Street Corp.
CTPartners Executive Search Inc. (NYSE MKT: CTP) announced Ronald Parker, president and CEO of The Executive Leadership Council, will join is board of directors. Parker previously spent 30 years at PepsiCo, PepsiCo North America, and Frito-Lay; his last role was senior vice president, where he directed the company’s global labor relations and diversity and inclusion strategies.
Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, announced Carolina King joined the firm as vice president of human resources, part of an initiative to expand operations and hire associates in all its practice groups and office locations. King served at Lucas Group earlier in her career but most recently was human resources director at Turner Broadcasting Inc.
Consilium Staffing, a locum tenens staffing firm based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, announced Cynthia Hageny joined the company as director of corporate recruiting. Hageny has more than 10 years’ experience in the healthcare staffing industry and most recently was a partner at a healthcare industry company, responsible for recruitment and business development.
Boyden World Corp. announced David Jensen joined Boyden UK as a partner in its interim management practice. Jensen has 18 years’ experience in the European interim management sector.
