People: Eliassen Group, AlphaStaff, PSG Global Solutions, Fastaff

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Eliassen Group, AlphaStaff, PSG Global Solutions and Fastaff Travel Nursing.

Eliassen Group, a Wakefield, Mass.-based information technology staffing firm, promoted Kris Kurcoba to director of its IT staffing and workforce management operation in the Mid-Atlantic region, effective immediately. Kurcoba joined Eliassen in 2010 as a senior sales executive in the key account program and for the last year served as the head of Eliassen Group's Baltimore IT staffing division.

AlphaStaff, a professional employer organization based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., appointed Chris Gaine as regional vice president of Northeast business development. Gaine will report to AlphaStaff Executive Vice President Kyle Kelly.

PSG Global Solutions, a provider of outsourced recruiting support to the U.S. staffing industry, promoted Monica Maralit to vice president, program management. Based in Manila, Philippines, PSG provides offshore outsourcing services to staffing firms.

Ellen Kuhnert joined Fastaff Travel Nursing and U.S. Nursing as vice president of business development. Kuhnert previously served as regional director for MedAssets Workforce Solutions; chief nursing officer and assistant chief nursing officer for Tenet Healthcare; and director of pediatric/neonatal and burn services at Western Medical Center, Santa Ana. Fastaff is a medical and travel nurse staffing firm; U.S. Nursing provides nurse staffing during labor disputes.
