Corestaff promoted D.D. Hulsey-Carpenter to VP and general manager of the company's South Texas region. In addition, the company promoted Kristi Johnson to VP of national sales support. Both Hulsey-Carpenter and Johnson have more than 20 years' experience in the staffing industry.

The Bartech Group named William Sebra as VP of recruitment process outsourcing and Jennifer Spicher as VP of direct and contract recruitment. Sebra has served as president, founder and CEO for several companies in the recruitment industry, including Knowledge Workers Inc. Spicher most recently served as market director at a national staffing firm and was responsible for its southeast Michigan region.

Addison Professional Search named Ron Nickelson Jr. as global leader of its natural resources and energy practice. Nickelson will be based in Houston. He previously led an energy practice at another firm.

SThree PLC appointed Gary Elden to its board as an executive director. Elden has been with the company since 1990 and serves as its chief development officer. SThree ranked No. 31 on Staffing Industry Analysts' list of the world's largest staffing firms.
