People: Command Center, The Staffing Group and more

Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include announcements from Command Center, The Staffing Group, Odgers Berndtson, Hire Velocity, Parallon and Lucas Group.

Command Center Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI), an Idaho-based staffing firm, elected John Stewart to its board of directors. Stewart currently serves as a director of Investors Real Estate Trust and as chairman of the advisory board of Bank of North Dakota.

The Staffing Group Ltd. (OTCBB: TSGLE) appointed Brent Callais to its board of directors. Callais is currently CEO of EmployUS, a staffing company acquired by The Staffing Group in January.

Executive search firm Odgers Berndtson announced digital search consultant Candi Dalipe will head its new comprehensive digital practice. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, Dalipe founded her own strategic search firm. Odgers Berndtson also partnered with digital strategist and board member Barry Libert to provide board-level digital strategy learning and consulting services. Both report directly to Steve Potter, managing partner of the Odgers Berndtson’s U.S. operations.

Recruitment process outsourcing provider Hire Velocity appointed Craig Dellorso as managing director for Hire Velocity Federal, a dedicated business unit that provides recruiting resources and strategies to support government and public-sector contracts. Dellorso will also manage the integration and expansion of the Federal practice established by TSC Services LLC, which was recently acquired by Hire Velocity. Dellorso previously was chief customer officer for Avectra, a provider of association management software.

Parallon Business Solutions, a provider of healthcare business and operational services, named two senior vice presidents within its Workforce Solutions business unit. The Franklin, Tenn.-based firm appointed Matt Nelson as senior vice president of sales. Nelson previously was senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Parallon Technology Solutions business unit. Parallon also named Stephen Wright to the newly created position of senior vice president of field operations and delivery, responsible for the oversight of the organization’s 28 field offices. Wright most recently was managing director for a sales and strategy consulting firm and executive director of the Summer Solstice Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds for children’s charities.

Lucas Group, an Atlanta-based executive search firm, hired Alicia Deedy as marketing project lead in its headquarters office. Deedy most recently was sales manager at The Aspire Group.
