Command Center Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI.OB) said Ralph Peterson was appointed to its board of directors. He replaced Ronald Junck, who resigned to make room for an independent member. Peterson was a partner in a venture capital firm from 2002 until 2006 and, before that, held several leadership roles with Labor Ready Inc. (NYSE: LRW), including the role of CFO.

MDI, a Norcross GA-based professional staffing firm, named Randy Hulse as director of business development for information technology services. Hulse most recently held positions at Silicon Valley computer hardware and software companies.
