Clovis, a Bethesda MD-based staffing firm, named a new president and chief operating officer as well as a new practice leader. The Mahone Group Inc., a Marietta GA-based staffing firm, announced an executive to head up business development for its healthcare staffing division.

Clovis named Richard Mazelsky as president and COO. Mazelsky most recently served as a senior VP at Spherion Corp. (NYSE: SFN). He had also served as president of Sparks Personnel Services in the Washington DC area. In addition, Clovis appointed Carol Dasenbrook as practice leader of its workforce management division. Dasenbrook previously served as a senior manager at BearingPoint. Clovis provides accounting/finance, information technology staffing as well as workforce solutions.

The Mahone Group hired Connie Garrison to head up business development for its healthcare staffing division. Garrison has more than 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
