People: Cejka, Futurestep, Landrum, Slayton and more

Cejka Executive Search, the healthcare executive and physician search division of Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN), hired Joyce Tucker as an executive VP responsible for senior-level healthcare search services and consultation. Tucker has more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare executive.

Futurestep, a division of Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) providing recruitment process outsourcing and other services, announced Susan Raffetto joined as VP of strategic life sciences accounts. Raffetto has more than 30 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition strategy, most recently as VP of global recruiting and mobility at Bruker Corp. Raffetto also held global leadership recruiting positions at BP, General Signal and Union Carbide.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott appointed Britt Landrum III, president of Landrum Human Resources Companies Inc., to the Board of Employee Leasing Companies, which licenses and regulates employee leasing businesses. His term runs from Jan. 7, 2016, through Oct. 31, 2018.

Slayton Search Partners, a Chicago-based executive search firm, announced Kevin Duffy joined the company as executive VP. He previously led executive search projects as a managing director of Herbert Mines and also was a senior client partner at Korn Ferry International Inc.

Catalyst Advisors, an executive search firm targeting biopharma companies, named Sara Hagar as a partner. A recruiter at the firm since its founding, Hagar joined Catalyst Advisors in 2008 as a director after spending six years as a member of the healthcare practice at Russell Reynolds Associates.

Executive search firm Egon Zehnder named Lisa Blais as leader of the firm’s Boston office. Blais previously was head of the firm’s North American industrial practice. She succeeds Jamie Satterthwaite, who led the office for the past five years. Satterthwaite now will focus on advising CEOs and boards across the technology, health and other sectors.

Executive search and consulting firm The Newport Group announced recently announced VP Brad Ellis will manage the day-to-day operations of its new office in Wichita Falls, Texas, which opened Jan. 4. Ellis has 15 years’ experience in recruiting for the healthcare and oil and gas industries, among others.
