CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI) and Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) made personnel announcements.

CDI said Brad Dever joined the company as VP of business development for its CDI-Talent Management division. Dever most recently served as a VP of strategic accounts for a provider of recruitment process outsourcing, according to CDI. He will be based at CDI's corporate headquarters in Philadelphia.

Heidrick said Bonnie Gwin, a managing partner at the company, was named chair of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America board of directors. Gwin was also recently tapped to lead Heidrick's North American board practice. She has been a partner at Heidrick for 12 years.
