The Bartech Group appointed Andrean Horton as general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to her current position, Horton was vice president of legal and regulatory compliance at YRC Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: YRCW), a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest transportation service providers in the world.

EmploymentGroup named Lisa Westbrook as Risk Manager. She previously held the position of a safety specialist in the company. In her new position, Westbrook will help direct the company's growing risk management and compliance-focused consulting arm, which provides customers with a third-party check-and-balance system to ensure compliance with state and federal workplace standards. Westbrook will specialize in evaluating, processing and paying of claims.

Prior to joining EmploymentGroup, Westbrook served as member services director for the Safety Council for West Michigan, where she audited member client sites and assisted with compliance issues, training and the development of safety and health related resources.

Command Center Inc. (OTCBB:CCNI) announced that John Schneller was appointed to its board of directors. Schneller, currently a partner at the investment banking firm of Scura, Rise and Partners, will replace Thomas Gilbert on Command Center's five-member board. Gilbert will continue to serve as the company's COO.

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASDGS:HSII) reported that Michael Loiacano has joined the firm's Chicago office as a principal in the insurance and life sciences practices. Loiacano, 35, joins Heidrick & Struggles from The Jacobson Group, a $35 million professional and human capital services firm specializing in insurance, healthcare and financial services, where most recently he was senior vice president and managing director as well as head of Jacobson Executive Search. He joined that firm in 2003.
