Allied Healthcare International Inc. (NASD: AHCI) named a new chairman. The Armada Group announced it formed an executive advisory board.

Allied Healthcare International, a New York-based company that provides staffing and other healthcare services in the United Kingdom, announced that Jeffrey Peris will serve as its non-executive chairman. Peris has been on the company's board since May 1998 and has served as interim non-executive chairman since April 2009.

The Armada Group, a Santa Cruz CA-based information technology staffing firm, announced it formed an executive advisory board to counsel management on growth strategy and execution. The board includes Chuck Geiger, former chief technical officer of PayPal and Ask.com; Marty Chuck, former chief information officer for Electronic Arts and Agilent Technologies; and Tim Unger, former senior VP of Cadence Design Systems and entrepreneur in residence at U.S. Venture Partners.
