Peopleclick Authoria, a provider of a vendor management system and other human resources software, named Charles Jones as CEO and announced other personnel changes on Friday.

Jones had served as chairman at Peopleclick Authoria and will continue in that role while also serving as CEO.

The company also named Doug Ring as chief technology officer, Christian Merhy as VP of marketing and Mike Ditson as VP of corporate education and development.

Former CEO Joseph Licata Jr. is leaving the company to pursue an investment acquisition in an unrelated business sector, according to the company.  Licata joined as CEO in April 2010.

Peopleclick was acquired by Bedford funding, a White Plains NY-based private equity firm, in January 2010 for $100 million. Peopleclick was combined with Authoria, a human resources software firm already owned by Bedford, and the companies operate under the Peopleclick Authoria brand.

Jones, managing partner of Bedford Funding, took over the chairman and CEO role after the companies combined before bringing in Licata.
