Penmac names new CEO

October 10, 2013

Penmac Staffing Services Inc. named Tim Massey as CEO. Massey takes over the CEO role from Paula Adams, who will remain as president of the Springfield, Mo.-based staffing firm. Adams served as both president and CEO of Penmac since January 2012; Adams will continue to oversee daily operations with Massey as CEO.

“Penmac is ready for a new vision of growth and an outside perspective,” Adams said. “We will be leaning on Tim’s experience and expertise to grow Penmac.”

Massey most recently served as executive vice president of Paramount Staffing where he managed sales and operations for the southeast United States. He has more than 18 years of experience in the staffing industry.

“Penmac has established itself as a leader not only in staffing, but also in the communities it serves,” said Massey. “Couple that with a strong opportunity for growth, and I am excited to join the team.”

Penmac, an employee-owned company, employed more than 18,000 people in 2012. It operates 29 branches in seven states. It provides staffing in healthcare, information technology, transportation, clerical, industrial and hospitality.
