Paychex Inc. (NASD: PAYX), a payroll processing provider and professional employer organization, reported revenue in its human resources services division rose 12 percent on a year-over-year basis to $212.1 million in its fiscal third quarter ended Feb. 28. The division includes professional employer organization services revenue as well as other businesses.

The Rochester, N.Y.-based company reported total third-quarter revenue rose 7 percent to $636.5 million from $593.3 million in the same period last year.

Third-quarter net income rose 11 percent to $160.1 million.

Within its human resources services division, Paychex continues to experience rapid growth in both its administrative services organization and professional employer organization as well as in eServices, the company said in a press release.

Shares in Paychex were up 1.60 percent in early afternoon trading to $42.58 and Paychex has a market cap of approximately $15.51 billion, according to Yahoo!
