Revenue was essentially flat at Olympia Flexgroup AG, a staffing firm based in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company posted revenue of euro187.3 million (US$295.9 million) in the first half of 2008, down 0.2% from euro187.6 million in the first half of last year.

First-half revenue rose 8.1% to euro111.4 million (US$176.0 million) in the Netherlands, the company's largest market. However, the company said revenue fell in Spain because of a tough economic climate.

Olympia Flexgroup opened eight new offices in the first half of 2008 for a total of 195 branches in Europe.
