TEKsystems, part of the Allegis Group, opened a new office in Honolulu. TEKsystems previously served the Hawaiian market through its Los Angeles and San Diego offices. "While our past efforts were mutually productive, we felt the timing was right to add a local point of presence to Hawaii," said Matt Hulsebus, director of business operations for the Honolulu office.

Lab Support, a division of On Assignment Inc. (NASD: ASGN), opened an office in Markham, Ontario, to serve clients in the Toronto area. "The Toronto area is a major scientific hub, and our new office gives us the ability to better serve our Canadian customers, creates more opportunities for local candidates, and advances our goal of establishing Lab Support's presence in key metropolitan markets," said Lab Support President Emmett McGrath. Leading the office will be Aisha Manji.

Information technology and engineering staffing firm Oxford Global Resources Inc., a division of On Assignment Inc. (NASD: ASGN), opened an office in San Bruno CA. The office will serve clients in the San Francisco area. It will be lead by Brian Bonnette.

Southern Home Medical Equipment said it sold franchise rights for its Encore Medical Staffing Inc. division for upstate South Carolina. Operating the franchise will be Effective Staffing Solutions LLC.
