Nursefinders buys allied staffing firm

April 07, 2008

Nursefinders Inc. announced today it acquired Resources On Call, a Hickory NC-based allied healthcare staffing firm with a particular emphasis on providing imaging and medical laboratory technologists. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition, in addition to Nursefinders' other brands, will give the company approximately $500 million in gross billings and more than 100 offices throughout the U.S.

"With Resources On Call operating alongside our existing Club Staffing allied staffing brand, we believe that we have gained the No. 1 position in the fast-growing allied healthcare staffing sector in terms of revenues," said Nursefinders CEO Bob Livonius.

Resources On Call will continue operating under its own brand name and its president, Jeffrey Decker, will remain with the company.

Nursefinders, based in Arlington TX, provides per diem nurses, travel nurses, allied health, and physician staffing. It was acquired in August 2007 by an investment group that includes Goldman Urban Investment Group, Pharos Capital Group LLC, and Haas Wheat and Partners.
