New appointment - Korn/Ferry, Spherion

September 15, 2009

Retained search firm Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY) announced today the appointment of two new board members, Baroness Denise Kingsmill and George T. Shaheen. They have joined the firm's board as directors.

Kingsmill is a former partner at a leading London law firm and has held a series of high-profile non-executive director and advisory roles in the private sector, including at British Airways, Laing O'Rourke, Royal Bank of Scotland and Telewest Communications.

Shaheen was formerly the CEO of Siebel Systems Inc., a customer relationship management software company, and CEO and Global Managing Partner at Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture. He also served as chairman and CEO of Webvan Group Inc. He currently serves on the boards of NetApp, PRA International, 24/7 Customer, Voxify, newScale and Univita Health.

Spherion Corp. (NYSE: SFN) today announced that Rebecca Callahan will become president of SourceRight Solutions, the company's recruitment process outsourcing unit. Spherion had recently rebranded Spherion RPO to SourceRight Solutions. The service offerings of the unit include recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), managed service programs and contingent workforce compliance solutions. The company plans to introduce its expanded service line under the SourceRight Solutions brand in November.

Callahan joined Spherion in 2003 as vice president of the assessment group. Since early 2008, however, she has led Spherion's RPO business.
