New England staffing provider acquires Apollo Consultants

December 29, 2014

BANK W Holdings acquired Apollo Consultants, a staffing firm serving the accounting and finance sectors.

Most of Apollo’s business is from senior-level permanent placements in the financial sector. The deal took place in June but was announced only recently. Apollo merged into KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting, with owner Sid Kotlus working for KBW for a transition period.

BANK W Holdings owns three staffing firms: KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting serves accounting and finance companies; Alexander Technology Group targets IT placement; and The Nagler Group provides administrative and HR staffing.

“The acquisition of Apollo is a complement to KBW Financial and Recruiting’s business model and geographic target,” said Jason Kroll, managing partner at BANK W Holdings. “Having founder Sid Kotlus working with us for the transition has been fantastic as he fits in both strategically and culturally.”

The firms owned by BANK W Holdings operate out of three offices and reported approximately $30 million in 2014 revenue. The combined companies have 80 internal employees and 500 contractors on billing heading into next year.
