Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) named Byrne Mulrooney as CEO of its Futurestep division.

Mulrooney previously served as president and chief operating officer of Flynn Transportation Services, a third-party logistics company. His other experience prior to Futurestep includes leading SFN Group's (NYSE: SFN) workforce solutions business in North America, which included recruitment process outsourcing and managed services. Mulrooney also has executive experience at EDS and IBM.

Mulrooney takes over from Robert McNabb, who will now focus on leading Korn/Ferry's office of the chief executive, premier client partnerships initiative.

Futurestep provides recruitment process outsourcing services and other recruitment services for mid-level and temporary professionals. Futurestep had revenue of $94.9 million in its last fiscal year ended April 30, 2009.
