New CEO for MSN

July 25, 2013

Medical Staffing Network Healthcare LLC appointed Dr. Brian Poplin, FACHE, as president and chief executive officer, effective Aug. 1, 2013. He replaces CEO Bob Bunker, who will remain as chairman of the board of directors.

Poplin joined MSN in April 2013 as president and chief operating officer. He previously worked at Aramark for 18 years, where he served as president of its healthcare technology outsourcing business.

Poplin’s appointment to CEO and Bunker’s shift to chairman come as part of a larger strategic planning process to prepare MSN for exponential growth, the company said.

“As the healthcare industry experiences rapid changes, we are finding that our value proposition is focused on meeting our clients’ dynamic needs and our opportunities are increasing rapidly,” said Poplin. “I am energized to lead MSN through this period of industry changes and honored by Bob's trust in my abilities.”

MSN ranks fifth on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the United States.
