Nevada posts highest jobless rate

Nevada posted the highest unemployment rate among the states in October at 9.3 percent, according to seasonally adjusted numbers released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Rhode Island and Michigan followed at 9.2 percent and 9.0 percent respectively.

North Dakota again registered the lowest jobless rate at 2.7 percent in October.
