Nevada posts highest jobless rate

Nevada posted the highest unemployment rate among the states in June at 9.6 percent, according to seasonally adjusted numbers released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Illinois and Mississippi followed at 9.2 percent and 9.0 percent, respectively.

North Dakota again registered the lowest jobless rate, 3.1 percent in June.
