Nevada and Rhode Island posted the highest unemployment rates among the states in December at 10.2 percent each, according to seasonally adjusted numbers released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

North Dakota again registered the lowest jobless rate, 3.2 percent in December.
