Nevada, Rhode Island Post Highest Jobless Rates

Nevada continued to post the highest unemployment rate among the states in November at 10.8 percent despite falling 0.7 of a percentage point from the previous month (the second-largest decrease among all states in November), according to seasonally adjusted numbers released today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  Rhode Island posted the next-highest rate at 10.4 percent in November.

North Dakota again registered the lowest jobless rate, 3.1 percent in November. Nebraska followed with a 3.7 percent rate.
