Nevada Posts Highest Jobless Rate

Nevada recorded the highest unemployment rate among states in January at 14.2 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. It was followed by California at 12.4 percent and Florida at 11.9 percent.

North Dakota recorded the lowest jobless rate among states in January at 3.8 percent. Nebraska posted the next-lowest at 4.2 percent and South Dakota the third-lowest at 4.7 percent.
