UK-headquartered independent recruitment organisation Resource Solutions Group (RSG) has opened its second non-UK office in Amsterdam. RSG opened its first overseas office in Munich in March 2015. 

The office in central Amsterdam is part of the company’s European-wide expansion programme. It will operate under the group’s Sanderson brand, one of its specialist resourcing businesses.

RSG reported £220 million in turnover during 2014 and the new offices follow on from five years of consolidated growth across the UK. The group is now seeking to continue developing operations across northern Europe as part of its commitment to building a global footprint in line with the international resourcing market.

Nick Walrond, RSG director in charge of overseeing the EU expansion programme, said: “The Netherlands has seen a good period of growth in the past 12 months, which looks likely to continue, and with this comes an increase in the flexible jobs market.”

“We believe the expansion into the Netherlands will help us support our existing customers and also create opportunities for our range of services to be brought to the wider local marketplace.”

“The Dutch market has different needs compared to the UK and Germany, so we are looking forward to seeing what the local Sanderson team, with their knowledge-based and relationship-led approach will deliver in the region,” Mr Walrond added.

Headquartered in Bristol and with UK offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Cardiff, RSG employs more than 200 people in the UK and specialises in IT, finance and business change. It also has a division catering for government and defence recruitment.

Sanderson already works with global companies as well as household brands and SMEs to support business areas including IT, business transformation and financial and corporate services.
