View All NewsNetherlands – Randstad fund invests in US employee referral platform
Recruitment firm Randstad Holding announced today that its Randstad Innovation Fund (RIF) is investing in Silicon Valley-based employee referral platform RolePoint. This is the third such investment from the fund following Gigwalk and twago earlier this year.
With referrals being a dominant source of hires for companies, RolePoint promotes engagement and increases participation across the entire employee base. By empowering employees to match their social connections to the relevant vacancies, RolePoint improves the quality of referrals and enhances the experience.
Linda Galipeau, Executive Board Member at Randstad, commented: “With this investment in RolePoint, we intend to bring a competitive advantage to our organisation and clients. RolePoint’s platform gives a new level of efficiency and engagement in internal mobility and external social sourcing.”
As a strategic corporate venture fund, RIF is building a portfolio of early stage HR technology investments. RIF is investing in companies that are at the forefront of technology or transforming the industry, thereby boosting external innovation within the Randstad Group.
The goal of the RIF is to create an ecosystem where Randstad’s expertise and reach complement entrepreneurial spirit and technological excellence.
