Cleveland-based staffing firm Nesco Resource extended its footprint into Michigan with the acquisition today of ETS Staffing, a staffing firm headquartered in Grosse Pointe, Mich.

ETS Staffing’s seven branch locations in Michigan, New York and Florida will transition to the Nesco Resource brand and all employees at those locations will retain their jobs.  David Lockhart, president of ETS Staffing, will join Nesco Resource’s executive group as vice president.

The Michigan locations provide a launching pad for our entry into that marketplace while the Rochester sites supplement Nesco Resource’s existing sites and secure our leading market share position in western New York.”

The transaction closed today and terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition brings Nesco Resource's U.S. locations to 68.

Nesco Resource ranks 56th on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2013 list of largest U.S. staffing firms, with $237 million in 2012 U.S. staffing revenue. Industrial and engineering are its largest segments, although it also has dedicated offices serving the IT, clerical, accounting and finance sectors.
