Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Firms listing personnel changes today include ICon Professional Services, MDI Group, Oasis Outsourcing, ManpowerGroup and others.

ICon Professional services named Dana Shaw as its chief operating officer effective June 3. Shaw comes to ICon From TAPFIN where she served as global vice president - operations.

MDI Group, an Atlanta-based information technology staffing provider, tapped Managing Director Daryl Fox to oversee a new office in Austin, Texas. Fox has nearly 25 years of IT business development experience.

Oasis Outsourcing, a Florida-based professional employer organization, added Kerim Fidel as senior vice president and general counsel. Fidel previously was general counsel for Strategic Outsourcing Inc., a PEO based in Charlotte, N.C.

ManpowerGroup Inc.’s (NYSE: MAN) board of directors approved changes to the chairs of both the Executive Compensation and Human Resources Committee and the Audit Committee. Ed Zore is replacing Jack Greenberg as chair of the Executive Compensation and Human Resources Committee, and Gina Boswell is replacing Zore as chair of the Audit Committee. Both changes are effective as of April 30.

Solon, Ohio-based Direct Consulting Associates, which provides healthcare IT consulting and staffing, announced Anthony Caponi joined the company as vice president of sales. Caponi previously was regional manager at Maxim Healthcare Services.

Atrium Staffing announced CFO John Liscinsky, CPA, will serve as a partner and lead the accounting and operations center at the New York-based staffing firm’s newest office in Pittsburgh, Penn. Liscinsky worked with Atrium from 2000 to 2005 and re-joined the company in 2011 as CFO. Human Resources Director Renee Shiraishi will also join the Pittsburgh office and manage human resource responsibilities across Atrium’s nationwide offices. Sales and Recruiting Manager J. Scott Callan will head the finance and accounting division for Atrium’s Pittsburgh office. Callan previously worked at staffing agencies and corporations including Robert Half International and PNC Bank.

Nectir Inc., a staffing franchise organization, announced Stefanie Porter will head its new Nectir Denver office. Porter previously worked in the insurance sector, most recently as an operations manager.
