Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Today’s listings include changes at Medical Staffing Network, Avant Healthcare Professionals, ConsultNet and others.

Medical Staffing Network Healthcare LLC appointed Henry Drummond as vice president of operations. Drummond previously was executive director of nursing services and quality initiatives of Miami Jewish Health Systems. MSN is headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla., and ranks fifth on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the United States.

Central Florida-based Avant Healthcare Professionals hired Patty Jeffrey as vice president of recruiting. Jeffrey has nearly 15 years in the healthcare staffing sector, including as chief operating officer of IFANglobal and vice president of international operations for All About Staffing.

ConsultNet LLC, an information technology and engineering recruiting and staff management firm, promoted Susan Peillet Yule from president to president and CEO. She will assume the day-to-day responsibilities of running the company from founder Donald Goldberg, who will focus on strategic management as managing director. Yule is based at ConsultNet’s Utah headquarters but also works out of its Boston office.

WinterWyman, a Waltham, Mass-based staffing firm serving the Northeast, promoted Robin Daman to partner of the firm’s New York accounting and finance search division. Daman was formerly a principal consultant in the same division.

Emerson Professionals Inc., a recruiting firm serving the healthcare and academic sectors, promoted Brooks Stockmon from senior recruiter to regional director of account development. Stockmon will be based in the firm’s Boca Raton, Fla., headquarters.

Tower Legal Solutions, whose services include legal staffing, hired Sylvia Naim to manage its newest office in Minneapolis. Naim most recently was legal staff manager at Meagher & Geer, with responsibilities associated with the firm’s paralegal services. She was also the president of the International Paralegal Management Association.
