Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Firms listing personnel changes today include Korn/Ferry, Accountable Healthcare, Corporate Resource Services, OpTech and others.

Executive search firm Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) added Andrew Lipsher to the firm as a senior client partner in the global consumer practice with a focus on global media convergence, technology, media and entertainment, digital media and consumer internet. Lipsher previously was senior vice president, corporate development at Clear Channel Media. He will be based in Korn/Ferry's New York City office.

Accountable Healthcare Holdings Corp., a Boca Raton, Fla.-based healthcare staffing provider, named Maria Cwynar branch manager of a new office in Pittsburgh and Jim Risher as branch manager of a new office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Cwynar previously was the Pittsburgh branch manager for Medical Staffing Network and Risher was a senior account executive with Randstad USA in its healthcare division.

Corporate Resource Services Inc.’s  (OTCBB: CRRS) board of directors appointed Larry Melby as an independent board member. Melby is CEO of Select Specialty Hospital in Lake Worth, Fla., and he has held executive positions at several Florida hospitals. Corporate Resource Services is based in New York and ranks as the 34th-largest staffing firm in the U.S.

OpTech CEO Ronia Kruse was named to the board of directors of TechServe Alliance, a national organization of IT and engineering staffing and solutions firms, clients, consultants and suppliers. Kruse will serve as a director at-large. OpTech is an information technology and engineering staffing provider based in Troy, Mich.

Peoplefluent, a provider of a vendor management system and other talent management software, appointed Mike Lewis as chief marketing officer. Lewis is the author of “Stand Out Social Marketing” and most recently served as vice president of marketing and sales at Awareness Inc., a social media marketing software company.

Nectir San Antonio, the IT staffing division and wholly owned subsidiary of Innové LLC, named Melissa Rice as vice president. Rice will head the staffing and talent delivery division of Innové, a management consulting and technology services provider to government and commercial clients.

Clarity, a Manhattan-based staffing firm, tapped Eileen Riebling to lead its new division providing mid- and high-level HR recruitment and placement. Riebling previously managed the company’s temporary division. Clarity Holdings has offices in New York, California and Virginia; its partner company, Silicon Valley-based Clarity Technology Partners, specializes in technology.

Polachi promoted partner Sean Carroll to managing partner and a member of the executive committee. Carroll will influence the company’s operational and strategic decisions in the New York Metro market. Framingham, Mass.-based Polachi is a founding member of Access Search Partners, a partnership of six technology search firms that provides specialist search services globally.
