Here are recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Firms listing personnel changes today include Corporate Resource Services, CorSource Technology Group, the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations and Korn/Ferry International Inc.

Corporate Resource Services Inc. (OTCBB: CRRS) appointed Thomas Clarke Jr. to its board. Clarke has served as CEO of Weiss Group LLC, a provider of independent research, since July 2010. He also served as CEO of TheStreet.com Inc. from 1999 through 2009. Clarke was also president of Thomson Financial Investor Relations from 1998 through 1999. Corporate Resource Services is a New York-based staffing provider.

The board of CorSource Technology Group named Eileen Boerger as CEO. CorSource is a provider of strategic consulting, software development and staffing services. It is based in Portland, Ore.

The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) hired Paul Richman as vice president of state government affairs. Richman has 26 years of experience in federal and state government affairs, most recently as the Washington representative for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Brian Middleton is heading up the new Labor SMART Inc. (OTCBB: LTNC) branch in Kansas City, Mo. The staffing provider now has nine branches in six states.

Gerard McNamara joined Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) as senior client partner in the firm’s financial services practice and CIO center of expertise. In addition, Victoria Luby joined Korn/Ferry as a senior partner in its leadership and talent consulting operations. Bryan Proctor joined Korn/Ferry as senior client partner and member of its board and CEO services practice and financial officers practice. Scott Stevenson joined Korn/Ferry as senior partner in its leadership and talent consulting operations.
