Barrett Business Service Inc., a Vancouver, Wash.-based staffing and professional employer organization firm, announced Michael Elich has been elected to the company's board of directors and appointed president and CEO. Elich had been appointed interim president and CEO on Jan. 20, following the death of William Sherertz. Elich has been with Barrett for nearly 10 years, including serving as its chief operating officer for five years. Before joining Barrett, Elich was COO of Skills Resource Training Center, a staffing services company with offices in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) announced that Mary Saxon and Jeannie Finkel have joined as partners. Saxon will be part of the Consumer Markets Practice and based in San Francisco. Saxon comes to Heidrick & Struggles from Herbert Mines Associates. Finkel will be part of the financial services and chief human resources officer practices and will be based out of Los Angeles. Finkel comes to Heidrick & Struggles from Trust Company of the West, a leading asset management firm based in Los Angeles, where she served as managing director of human resources

Atterro Human Capital Group, a Minneapolis-based staffing provider, announced David Loeser, executive VP of human resources with Hostess Brands Inc., has joined the company's board of directors. Loeser has more than 25 years of experience in various executive leadership roles throughout a wide range of industries with global organizations.

Pinstripe Inc., a human resources and recruitment process outsourcing firm, reported that Angela Calkins has joined the firm as senior VP of global client services. Calkins was the director of global talent acquisition for Starbucks Coffee Co.

Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search firm, appointed John Schultz to its medical technology practice in its Minneapolis/St. Paul office. Before joining Russell Reynolds, Schultz was with medical technology company Medtronic as its U.S. marketing manager.

Lighthouse Management Group Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based staffing provider, business added David Khoung to its business development team.
