24 Seven Inc. named Ricardo Alvar as chief business development officer, global retail. Alvar most recently served as executive VP, global operations, for the firm. Prior to 24 Seven, he served as senior VP of sales and marketing at Headway Staffing and Talent Tree. 24 Seven is a staffing firm serving the fields of fashion, retail, marketing, interactive and creative.

The Judge Group promoted Albert Simmons to global managing director of the company's financial services practice. Simmons has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and IT services industries. Simmons joined Judge in 2009, but his previous positions include serving as CEO of Netpixel and as senior VP of financial services at Comsys IT Partners Inc. The Judge Group is a Philadelphia-based staffing provider.

M Squared Consulting promoted Meg Hanna to VP of human resources. Hanna joined the company in 2002 as consulting services manager and was promoted to director of human resources in 2005. M Squared, based in San Francisco, provides consulting, places professionals on a project basis and provides independent contractor compliance/payrolling services.

Pinstripe named Michael Soisson as its healthcare practice leader. Soisson most recently served as the CEO of Good Shepherd Penn Partners. Pinstripe is a recruitment process outsourcing firm.

The RightThing, a recruitment process outsourcing firm, appointed Martin Wejcman as manager of its Buenos Aires recruitment operations center. Wejcman will oversee the hiring process for the company's South America client base.
