Firms announcing promotions and new hires include PRO Unlimited Inc.; The Winter, Wyman Companies; Tatum; Vaco Raleigh; and Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII).

PRO Unlimited Inc., a vendor management system provider, announced the recent addition of Ted Sergott as senior vice president of product development. Sergott, brings more than 25 years of product development experience.

The Winter, Wyman Companies, a Waltham, Mass.-based staffing provider, promoted Adriana Ganos to principal of its software technology division; promoted Matthew MacLeod to principal of its technology contracting national division; promoted James Mellon to principal of its accounting and finance division; and promoted Mark Stagno to principal of its software technology division.

Tatum, a division of Randstad Holding NV, announced that Kim Tagle has joined the firm as the regional managing partner for the firm’s Western Region, which includes California and the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Tatum, Tagle was an early founder of Resources Global Professionals, a division of Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN).

Vaco Raleigh LLC, an executive placement and consulting firm, has announced that Christiaan Heijmen has joined the firm as a managing director, executive search.

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. named Bill Fowler and Jake Cohen as strategic advisors to its education and social enterprise practice. Fowler, based in California, was an executive at Cisco Systems for 13 years, most recently as director of Cisco’s global education division. Cohen most recently was the dean for MBA programs at INSEAD and is currently in Singapore on a sabbatical. In July 2012, he will become associate dean at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
