Firms announcing new hires and promotions include Atterro Human Capital Group, CTPartners, Odgers Berndtson, Russell Reynolds Associates and Diversified Search.

Atterro Human Capital Group announced Beth Aebersold as general manager to head up its Pro Staff division’s operations in Kansas City, Mo., and Des Moines, Iowa, and lead its Hunter Hamilton division in Minneapolis and Kansas City. Pro Staff provides administrative and light industrial staffing while Hunter Hamilton specializes in professional workforce management and finance/accounting staffing. Aebersold previously worked at Pro Staff for 13 years before leaving in 2010 to pursue an opportunity as recruiting manager with the University of Kansas Hospital.

CTPartners (AMEX: CTP) named Jason Magnus as principal in its financial services practice. Magnus comes to CTPartners from Principal Search where he most recently headed that firm’s U.S. commodities practice. Magnus will be based in New York.

Odgers Berndtson, an executive search firm, appointed Cheryl Lobell as a partner, who will work with its life sciences and healthcare clients. She will also be a member of the firm’s human resources functional practice. Lobell is presently with Odgers Berndtson’s office in Singapore and will relocate to the firm’s New York office.

Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search firm, appointed Travis Parsons as executive director of its technology sector. Parsons previously served as vice president of corporate development at Sezmi Corporation. He will be based in Menlo Park, Calif.

Diversified Search, a Philadelphia-based executive search firm, named Bart Penfold as managing director in its healthcare practice at the firm’s San Francisco office. Penfold previously served as managing director at DHR International in San Francisco.
