Harvey Nash USA, an executive search, professional recruitment and information technology outsourcing firm, announced the appointment of Tom Roach as vice president of northeast sales. A 25-year veteran in direct sales, Roach joins Harvey Nash from SFN Group Inc. (NYSE: SFN), where he most recently served as area and regional director.
 
Boyden, an executive search firm, announced that Thomas Connelly joined as a managing director in Boyden’s Miami office. Connelly has 20 years’ executive search experience. Connelly most recently served as president/chief operating officer of a South Florida-based technology startup that developed speech recognition software for applications in the hotel and restaurant industries.

The Buller Group, an international human capital services and recruiting firm, announced Tom Birmingham as vice president of strategic client solutions. Birmingham brings more than 30 years of human resources and consulting experience to the team. Prior to joining The Buller Group, Birmingham was responsible for major account development and relationship management across Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry (NYSE: KFY) company. He also led Futurestep’s recruitment process outsourcing business.

Lighthouse Management Group Inc., a Silicon Valley staffing and recruiting firm, promoted Nirav Shah to managing director of its accounting and finance practice. Shah brings a decade of industry experience and has held leadership roles for two of the largest international staffing firms. Prior to his appointment, Shah managed the business development unit of Lighthouse Management Group.

Global executive search consulting firm Spencer Stuart promoted Simon Fenton to chairman of its Greater China operations. Fenton was head of Spencer Stuart’s business in the growth markets of Brazil, India and China, as well as its global industry and functional practices.

Caldwell Partners (Toronto: CWL.TO), a retained executive search firm, announced the addition of Marnie McBryde as a partner based in the company’s New York office. McBryde has more than 25 years’ experience in the executive search industry. Prior to joining Caldwell Partners, McBryde was the president of McBryde & Partners, a firm she founded in 2006.
