Nelson Interactive names new vice president. Vista Staffing Solutions’ associate director becomes president of the National Association of Physician Recruiters. The Nelson Family of Companies hired Tony Rado as vice president at Nelson Interactive, which offers staffing solutions to computer and multi-platform creative interactive companies. Rado has 11 years experience in executive management in the discipline of quality assurance operations and developer services. Prior to joining Nelson, Rado headed up quality assurance operations and developer services at Sony Online Entertainment.

Vista Staffing Solutions announced that Patrice Streicher, associate director of the firm’s physician search and consulting division, has become president of the National Association of Physician Recruiters. The organization is a global nonprofit trade organization for professionals in the physician recruitment industry.

RSR Partners, an executive search firm, has appointed Wendy Murphy as managing director and head of the firm’s chief human resources practice. Murphy will also be a member of the firm’s board recruiting practice. Murphy has more than 15 years of experience in management consulting and executive search.

The WhiteRock Group, a New York-based executive search firm, announced the following hires and promotions. Amit Matta has been promoted to partner. Caroline McDonald has been hired as managing director and head of the technology and investment banking practices. Vita Dauksaite has been hired as vice president and deputy head of the company’s Eastern European Practice.

Egon Zehnder International named Thomas Reynolds as leader of its North American Industrial Practice Group. Since 2008, Reynolds has led the firm’s supply chain practice in the United States and served as a core member of the industrial and high tech practice groups.

Former staffing executive Manuel “Manny” Perez resigned last week as secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the Journal Sentinel newspaper reported. He had held the post for less than five months. Perez had been president and co-owner of a Milwaukee staffing firm, JNA Staffing Inc., for about three years when then-governor-elect Scott Walker named him in late December to head Workforce Development. Before JNA, Perez was an executive at ManpowerGroup.

Global Human Resources Outsourcing, an HR Services firm and PEO organization, appointed Carol Smoot as business development manager. Smoot has more than 25 years of experience at various companies, including Wright Ford Young & Co., Platinum Capital Partners, Corbin & Wertz Regional and Paychex Inc.

Futurestep, a division of Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY), has appointed Roberto Spuri as managing director of its Latin American business. Spuri will be responsible for driving the growth of Futurestep’s successful recruitment process outsourcing, consulting and retained search services across the region. Spuri joins the company from Convergys, which was recently acquired by NorthgateArinso, where he led the organization’s client services division in Brazil.
