Here are a few of the recent promotions, new hires and other personnel announcements made by staffing firms. Firms making announcements include Hudson Global Inc., Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. and Alliance Solutions Group among others:

• Hudson Global Inc. (NASD: HSON) reported that director Jon Chait will not seek re-election to the board when his term expires at this year’s annual meeting, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Chait had served as chairman of the board and CEO from when the company was spun off from Monster Worldwide Inc. in 2003 until Feb. 22, 2011. Chait notified the company of his decision on Dec. 31.
• Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. appointed Marc Fucci as director of correctional healthcare for its Staffing Solutions division. Maxim is based in Columbia, Md., and ranks as the sixth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the U.S.
• Alliance Solutions Group named Rob Sable as its new chief information officer. Alliance Solutions Group is an Independence, Ohio-based staffing firm.
• Donna Dach will serve as branch manager at CareNational Healthcare Services’ new Baltimore branch. Separately, the healthcare staffing provider also named Lonnie Friedman as a senior account manager. Friedman will work out of Santa Monica, Calif.
• Morgan Samuels, a provider of executive search, appointed Todd Wyles as a partner. Wyles will manage the firm’s private equity practice.
• CTPartners Executive Search Inc. added David Rossi as a partner in its industrial practice. Rossi came to CTPartners from Korn/Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY).
• Executive search firm The Caldwell Partners International (TSE: CWL) named Michael Gooley as a partner. Gooley comes to Caldwell from Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE: RHI).
• B.E. Smith named Laura Musfeldt as vice president, executive search. Musfeldt has more than 20 years of experience recruiting healthcare executives.
• Matt Lechner and Cliff Fiering will lead Outsource’s new Atlanta office. Outsource is a network cabling staffing firm headquartered in Los Angeles.
