The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations elected Brent Tilson as board chairman.

Tilson is president and CEO of Tilson HR, a Greenwood, Ind.-based PEO provider he founded in 1995.

“The PEO industry is positioned for incredible growth,” Tilson said. “During my time as chairman, I hope to continue this unprecedented time of success by proving our value proposition to current and potential clients.”

Tilson also serves on the Greenwood Redevelopment Commission, the Indianapolis Board of Tourism and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s board. He also co-founded Aspire Johnson County, a volunteer group of elected officials, business owners and community leaders to promote the county as a place to live work and visit.

“Brent’s dedication to the industry is impressive by any measure,” said NAPEO President Pat Cleary. “We have no doubt that the next year will be an exciting and productive one under his guidance and leadership.”
