Modern Professional Services announced it acquired Quality Technical Services Inc., an engineering, information technology and administrative staffing firm. QTS is based in Mobile AL and primarily serves the Gulf Coast area. It also has offices in Houston, New Orleans and Greenville SC.

Mark Marheineke, president of Modern Professional Services, said the acquisition will provide more opportunities to Modern candidates and allow it to open a new business line, in engineering and construction, in the Great Lakes region.

Modern Professional Services is a Troy MI-based engineering and design and IT staffing firm. It also has offices in Alabama, Georgia, Ohio and Tennessee.
