Michigan, Rhode Island post highest jobless rates

Michigan again reported the highest unemployment rate among all states in November at 14.7%, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Rhode Island came next at 12.7%.

California, Nevada and South Carolina tied for the third-highest jobless rates at 12.3% each.

North Dakota posted the lowest unemployment rate among all states in November at 4.1%. Nebraska registered the second-lowest at 4.5%, followed by South Dakota at 5.0%.
