Michael Page International PLC reported today that its North American fourth-quarter gross profit rose 42 percent year-over-year. Its 2010 revenue for the Americas region was GBP77.2 million (US$119.4 million), up 49.5 percent from GBP51.6 million on 2009.

The Americas region includes Latin America, which accounts for about two-thirds of the region's business.

Worldwide, the company reported full-year revenue of GBP832.3 million (US$1.29 billion). Gross margin was 53.1 percent, up from 49.1 percent in 2009. Profit was GBP67.5 million.
