Merit Resource Group, a staffing and consulting firm targeting the human resources sector, hired Danika Davis as CEO, a newly created position within the company. Davis who starts the position today, will lead daily operations of the company as well as identify areas for business expansion.

Davis for the past nine years has been CEO of the Northern California Human Resource Association.

“It is exciting to have Danika join our team as CEO,” said Co-owner Brian Gauny. “Danika brings with her a deep knowledge of the profession. Her extensive experience, leadership and guidance will allow us to expand to new levels of business and support for Bay Area human resource and business leaders.”

Merit Resource Group placed Davis into one of her early HR career positions almost 20 years ago.

Merit Resource Group serves Northern California and the Silicon Valley. It is headquartered in San Ramon, Calif., with a satellite office in Sunnyvale, Calif.
