Mentor-protégé list coming out

April 29, 2010

Ever heard of the federal government's mentor/protégé program, by which staffing firms can get help navigating the government's procurement process? Probably not, but it's the easiest path to selling to the feds -- if you qualify, and Staffing Industry Analysts has initiated a process to help.

Mentors are staffing firms already selling to the feds. Protégés are staffing firms that are small businesses (cutoffs vary by agency) or WMBE firms not already selling to the feds.  Under the mentor/protégé program, the two pair up in the bidding process and get very advantageous terms.

How to get started? Just click the link below to go the Staffing Industry Analysts' annual lists survey. The mentor/protégé registry is just one of the opportunities you will find.
