Second-quarter revenue rose 95.9% to $1.8 million at Medical Connections Holdings Inc. (OTCBB: MCTH.OB) from $930,964 in the same period last year.

The increase in revenue stemmed from an increase in recruiting staff, an escalation of marketing efforts and the arrival of new clients, the company said.

Net loss, however, widened to $1.7 million from $1.1 million the second quarter of 2007.
