Medfinders Inc., an Arlington TX-based healthcare staffing company, said it signed a three-year, $80 million contract with MedStar Health, an operator of eight hospitals in the Maryland and Washington DC area.

The deal calls for the hospital network to use Medfinders' SingleSource managed staffing program to provide local and contract nurses as well as allied healthcare staffing. It's expected the deal will allow MedStar to reduce its spending on contract labor from its current level of almost $90 million.

Medfinders is the parent company of Nursefinders.
